Finally got a hardtop
So this past weekend I was able to find a hardtop locally for my Boxster. I have been looking for the past 7 months all over the place for one that was Seal Grey. I found a few that didn't match, but then I would have to get it painted. Last Friday I was browsing craigslist and finally ran across one that was exactly what I needed.
So here it is
It makes the car so quiet inside. It's kinda nice to have a change. I wasn't planning on using the car as my daily driver during the winter, but now I might.

That's looks really slick. After seeing yours and the ocean blue one I'm thinking of getting one for my Box.

Tint is definately needed. I don't mind the stare downs with the top down, that is by choice.
chiefsalami, check the other thread. I answered your questions there.
Thanks,
David

They are horrible. I can't believe I put them on. Maybe you could be so kind and take them for me. I just can't bear to deal with them anymore.

When I bought my '01, the dealership found my hardtop in the used car sales manager's office. He thought it was for a Mercedes. I don't think I've had it on since about a week after I bought it (a couple of years ago), but I did think the rear window defogger was nice and it was MUCH quieter with it on.
It's sat with the cover on it leaned against the garage wall ever since. I just might have to put it on this winter. The only problem is that winters in Dallas are only a couple of months long. I've been able to cruise with the top down in 70+ degree weather in Jan and Feb every now and then.
