Woody is referring to the bumper on the white Charger parked next to your Boxster. It's a "push bumper", or "bullbar", normally used in rural or bush areas to protect the front end of the car. In the US, they're usually seen on police cars, where they are used to push stranded cars, or intentional collisions with other vehicles in police usage.
