hi guys,
was at Sepeng F-1 last week end to support the Singapore Porsche Club. its a 12 hour race, with 3 drivers. in a 996 GT3 cup car.
Ringo started off as Driver 1 (Position 8) in the dark at a 2.22-2.24 pace until he began to lap the back markers.All 3 drivers then maintained a steady 2.26-2.29 dry lap pace in the dark for the 1st 3 stints running in P6.Started to rain heavily from 3-7am where the pace fell to c.2.50+ per lap. Still, we managed to claw back 1 more position into Position 5 during this time.
When the clutch hose gave way at 7.30am, we were running in Position 5 and were 3 full laps ahead of our sister GT3 Cup car run by Team Hayashi (Dilantha, Ian Geekie, Nick Thomas). Car sidelined for 2 hours for repair.Got back on track in P45 at 9.30am in the dry running 2.22-2.28 lap times to claw our way back up to P28 at the finish.
