Any takers?

Good luck Jay!
Just zip-tie your windscreen in and cover the holes with tape. This will tell you if it works before you buy anything.

By the way, as I noted in my post above, plugging the holes from the hoop screens also increases the force on the center screen so make sure it's held in tightly before doing stuff with the hoop screens.

When I bought my car from the previous owner, he had them removed. I have to tell you I don't notice ANY noise when driving with the top down. SO JUST REMOVE THOSE THINGS ALL TOGETHER! They are useless in my opinion.

I was going to rag on the product when i seen the alante picture cause i was assuming the boxster version was similar but i clicked the installation link and seen how the boxster version looks and is installed, I probably wouldnt mind picking some up cause you really cant see the new screen cause its hidden in the rollbar screens. Very discrete compaired to the Caddy version.

Maybe Jay should send a member on this board a free set to evaluate and do a write up after a week of use?

I seem to remember that being done for a much more expensive exhaust system, and I do think that vendor profited from the positive write up.

Good thinking Mr. T, I hereby nominate myself for the 05-06 product evaluation. At least you know you'll get a detailed and coherent review, albeit verbose !

 I second this motion !
