My wife and I took a backpacking trip through Europe about 5 years ago. Visiting Stuttgart was the most anticipated stop (for me anyway). We bought museum tickets and were putting our luggage in lockers when I dropped her camera on the tile floor. She turned it on and it made a noise like sand in the gears of the lens. I was distraught, not only for breaking her Canon but for the lost pictures. She spent the next hour working on it as I sulked around. Eventually, she got it working so we started over as I wanted pictures of everything. Turned into one of the best days ever. That place is magical.
