Just wanna share my ride Since this picture, I've deambered the side lights, and also got the porsche tire valve caps since the stock ones all broke (screwed on too tight).

Nice pix! I don't know if you noticed, but there's some dude standing in front of your car though.

Nice looking car! I was just down in Austin working for a couple of weeks. The whole time I only saw 2 or 3 Boxsters. Are they really that rare down there or was I just missing them?

Yea, the Porsche population definitely isn't as high as somewhere like California for instance. I was actually deciding between the corvette and the boxster, and ended up choosing the boxster, with one of the factors being it was more 'unique', there were vettes everywhere.

Y'nkow, I never have to dress up for work anymore--it's all sandals, t-shirts and jeans where I'm at. My wardrobe has suffered a bit. I've never once worn a sports coat in my car, no khakis or "business casual" anything either.

I'm still trying to decide whether that's a good or bad thing.

You've got one of my favorite color combinations. Hey, I'll be driving up to Austin soon enough and I'll post something so we can meet up. Your '06 987 sitting right next to my beat up '97 986 will make it look a lot better!
