Nice
What did you use for the front end? Kit or modified OEM parts?

Xtreme Motorcars made the kit. It's actually very nice compared to anything out there. Super thick fiberglass, fit is great.

Looking good.

I was thinking of doing the same thing to the shifter that you have done here

It looks like you have just added the bolt to the top of the short shift lever for the knob. How is the height like that? I was thinking about cutting down further and using a longer stainless bolt, (polished), as the bolt would be seen exiting a new momo leather piece.

Thanks man! I did add a bolt, it's about the same height right now as the stock shifter, but what's cool is that the bolt goes almost to the top of the knob do if I do a track day I can unscrew it and rise it about 2 inches (I will install a locknut though) I'm also making my own leather shift boot with stretchy material to hide the bolt.

I used a Silverado iron block engine and I plan on turboing it which means a heavier clutch ($800) but shooting maybe around 6-7000 minimum. If you have a good motor you can sell it for about 5k (which is what I did). The 997 conversion was about 4-5k maybe.
