Without ramps or lifting the car, changing the oil is nearly impossible. My drain pan barely fits under the car without lifting it and I think it's about the same height as you mentioned.

It's hard enough to get under it when it's on ramps. Buy the low profile rhino ramps that stack on top of each other, they are easier to store that way.
