New here....1997 boxster...love it so far

Just purchased this 1997 boxster. So far it's a very fun car. Awesome site with lots of info. Speedy996...I think that's your user name. I'm cincinnati local to....I might be buying some parts off you soon

Nice looking Box. We've got some nice driving weather coming up this week-end, be sure to take advantage of it. Our Ohio winter is coming soon -- and probably with a vengeance for our great fall.

I've got a black 97 as well. My paint doesn't look nearly that good though! Congrats.

Check my web site for details as to what all I've done to my car to keep it running. The 97s were somewhat experimental for Porsche and had a lot of issues that have hopefully be sorted out on your car. Mine needed a lot of TLC from the 3 previous owners doing nothing but driving the car like they stole it.

New motor, transmission, suspension, and on and on and on it goes...
