Just to say Hi

Hi,

Just came to this forum through alt.autos.porsche. Like the GUI of the site.

I own a MY01 BoxsterS, speedyellow, sportsuspension, sportseats, full leather, 18" and specially painted speedyellow accents in my interior. I realy do **LOVE** the car.

The BoxsterS is for fun only. My daily car is a Subaru Impreza GTT, tuned by Prodrive and is a little bit faster than the BoxsterS. My wife drives a Peugeot 206gti.

As the ultimate drift machine (which I find the BoxsterS is not, it has to much grip and when it goes sideways it does it hard) I'm saving for a second hand BMW M3. Maybe I play to much PS/2 GT3 but with the M3 (FR, front engined, rear wheel drive) I think my garage is completed with the 206gti as a FF (front engine, front wheel drive)car, the impreza as a 4WD car, the BoxsterS a MR (mid-engine, rear wheel drive car) car.

Just dreaming for now, but I'm confident the M3 will come there someday.....

Hope to see you a lot

Mark.

Welcome aboard,

Love the interior of the car. Did Porsche do that at the factory or was it an after market job. Looks awsome !

By the way, If the file is <= 1 meg, you can have it show up instead of creating a link. At the bottom of the post thread window is a field for attaching the file. I ddon't think bmp's will work. I will verify it.

Anyway,

Thanks for joining

The speedyellow tunnel is a factory standard option, as well as the speedyellow belts and the alu gearknob / handbrake and the speedyellow rollbars (not on picture).

The other yellow parts (line on dashboard, midsection of console and the plate behind the clocks) are specially painted by the dealer. Factory standard options only provide alu/carbon/wood like stuff and I wanted it speedyellow. So after factory delivery they took it off and had them sprayed.

The sowing in my chairs and the sidepanels of the doors (were the "airbag" indication is) is done with yellow threads/wires too. This was done by the Porsche exclusive department.

Talking Our '99 Boxster

We just recently bought our first Porsche, a '99 Arctic Silver, Black, Black. Pictures of the car at the URL below.

http://homepage.mac.com/bliemel

How do you abbreviate Arctic Silver, Black, Black?

AS/B/B? I see this all the time at Boxster forums, but I am not sure if it should be B/B or something else, like perhaps Bl/Bl or......?

The car is in very good condition and had 37,250 miles on it when we got it.

mark,

Nice set of rides!
can you get all of the autos in the garage? I only have 3 bays with 2 cars (1 bay with my other "stuff;" fishing, tools, and I almost forgot, car detailing stuff).
