Mods update

I haven't posted an update on the Box's mods for a while so i thought i'd share some of the mods i've carried out over the last 2-3 months.

Bodykit finally fitted and finished

Side vents painted to bring in some silver to match the wheels

LED daytime driving lights fitted (got them up front, why not at the rear)

Seat centres re-coverd in Blue Alcantara (Thanks to my Mrs, she's a real wizard with a sewing machine) to match the body colour, quilted for comfort and to add a little something different.

Few other things done like, full service, alloy pedals, blue tint bulbs etc.
Next it's a full detailing, clay, machine polish etc and then to just enjoy it during the summer, can't wait.

I like the painted vents, i've been trying to figure out what to do with mine...was thinking of removing and doing the mesh, but i'm not sure how easy/hard that project is.

Now you just need to move the steering wheel to the correct side and it will be complete!

Some really nice, unique mods, thumbs up!

Would be great to see a complete picture of the back to see how those LED mods come across design-wise.

You might want to look into a 987 rear light mod, where the complete "red" band (brake, rear, fog and sidemarkers are equally intense illuminated and still functional).
There was even a plug-in module available for that some time ago (Nowa tail light module)

What brand is your front DRL-module?

Thanks for the compliments lads, Bran, here's a picture of the complete back with ignition on and off, i was trying to get the LED's unseen when the box's off and parked, only visible when running. The front DRL's are the same as Mercedes used at one time, readily available on E-bay. I'll have to look into the 987 rear light upgrade, any idea what exactly is involved with such a mod??

Ignition off

Ignition on

RAMOS, again thanks for the compliments, the Rims are Gen 2 Turbo. 18inch dia, 8.5 inch front, 10 inch rear, again available from E-bay, they're copys but the quality is excellent.
