Porsche 550

I saw these photos today looking through some old events from the Chicago PCA, and thought I would share with our forum.

Krztaco, I don't know. The red one looks like a Dodge pick-up!

I think it is a RUF in the background.

The interior of the 550 looks like it was designed by Apple.

I briefly considered one of those Beck Spyders to keep in Florida. No power just a cruiser.

That might be the RUF Boxster or just RUF wheels. But either way I wish you hadn't posted that now I'm going to have to get my GT3 seat handles painted silver like that guy!
Looks great with his red seats.

here is on replica set sold on ebay.

RUF Conversion for the 987S

FYI, the 3.8 RUF engine conversion (365 HP) for the 987S is $36,900. If interested call Wayne Corley 214-269-1571. Takes 2-3 weeks.

Odd, they only perform it on the S? Seems like you could save alot by purchasing a base and doing that swap.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
