Riviera Blue Boxster S
Hello Everybody!
Iīm a Porsche fan from Finland. First I would like to apologize for my bad language. I hope you understand me.. Here is a little story about my Boxster! I have 2000 model 3.2l with little modifications. I got my car from Germany at 2013. First i think that the car is ok without any modifications but then i realise that i want something different! Let the pictures speak for themselves: First day and first pic in Netherlands. Just drive thru visit. http://i57.tinypic.com/n9d7a.jpg First upgrade, new tail lights and cayman spoiler. http://i60.tinypic.com/348kivd.jpg Then it was time to upgrade wheels and tires. I got IA GT3 wheels 19" 9,5" in every corner. Here is also my friends Box and one of my old project car. http://i57.tinypic.com/33wrsco.jpg That was the look at the first summer. I also lowered the car littlebit because i like to go low.. :) So after summer i put my car to garage because there is too much snow to drive car like this.. About a month ago i decided to do something different. Now the whole car is the project! http://i60.tinypic.com/351j2mq.jpg New exhaust fitted at first. Then disassemble the whole car. http://i61.tinypic.com/245hjfa.jpg preparation for paint http://i58.tinypic.com/2r6mgw2.jpg I also inserted the new GT3 sideskirts http://i57.tinypic.com/wl43s.jpg After the preparation its time to paint first layers. Then i make the big decision - i chose the Riviera blue color! One of the best decision of the whole project! http://i60.tinypic.com/2m5mid0.jpg After first layers we sand down the whole car again for better finish. http://i61.tinypic.com/jjuruh.jpg More---> |
--- Continue..
I also do the retrofit modification http://i57.tinypic.com/70fko4.jpg Painted everything in black. I think its much better in black. http://i60.tinypic.com/nf64gg.jpg Then sand down the lens for new layers of lacquer http://i59.tinypic.com/egodms.jpg After few days its time to add new layers of shiny lacquer. I also do darker lacquer for outlines of the lens. http://i61.tinypic.com/316lmrm.jpg Couple days later- its time to start assemble the car. http://i62.tinypic.com/353a9sx.jpg Itīs almost ready. In that moment I still dont have the new front bumper.. Retrofitted lights are also ready! http://i59.tinypic.com/343i0l2.jpg This is what it looks like now. Today I also received new GT3 front bumper! I had still lot of work - interior - new speakers - front bumper.. |
Ah mate, I'm really jellous. It looks awesome!

All good taste. Can't wait to see the final shot with shades turned on subscribed1 |
Riviera Blue has to be one of the best Porsche colors!
|
Nice. Is it a genuine cayman spoiler or a replica one?
|
Thank you everybody! Its nice to hear positive feedback!
Spoiler is aftermarket part so it is replica, but it fits perfectly! |
I really liked the car at this point:

Yesterday and today we get the car almost ready! Only small things to do anymore! Pic with the top open, little bumper lip, new spacers in front. I would like to lower it more.. :D http://i57.tinypic.com/29nuskh.jpg View from the rear, Boxster badge matt black, rear wing with carbon fiber details. http://i58.tinypic.com/x29nv9.jpg |
Finnish (pun intended) it off with some Klissel overlays in blue.
