I looked at a Z06 and test drove several. At the time, I still had my Z. The c5 was much more refined than the c4 in most ways. I decided to wait until the c6 Z06 came out to get a better deal on a clean c5. In the mean time, we spent some time in Europe with a BMW 530i and I really fell in love with the feel of the car. We decided to upgrade my wife’s car and drove the X5, XC90, Cayenne S, and the Touareg. We decided on the Touareg (V8) and that started me down the path of the German engineered cars. After driving several boxsters and one 911, I was hooked. What I gave up in power is more than made up for in handling, style, and finish.
