These blue cars look amazing. Although I am struggling to find a difference with the lapis and midnight blue... is it just that the midnight is darker? Who has a midnight for reference?

I believe the lighter blue is Ocean Metallic Blue and the darker blue is Lapis. So, Dubaday- what exact color are your wheels? Light Bronze, Copper, Gold? Kinda like them and is your car a Lapis blue?

I think that is the otherway around, I checked my paint code which translated to ocean blue metalic which is the darker blue. The ocean blue metallic changes its look depending on the light.

Midnight Blue Metallic (my car) is definitely darker than Lapis. MBM can look near black, or eggplant, or dark navy - depending on the light. Both shades are great!

Hi guys, I am looking at a boxster to buy, its about 4hr drive to view it so have not seen it yet. the owner puts the colour as 'cobalt blue' but it doesn't look like any cobalt blue Porsche that google images pulls up. It looks almost leaning into the purple side of blue... what do you guys think. Any cobalt blue pictures you could share?

Thanks, I took the long drive to see. It was a funny camera picture that didn't show the true colour.

For future lookers... Cobalt blue

Georgeous color!
(Was actually my first choice but every time I talked to a seller someone would buy it out from under me before I could see it or get a PPI. Finally moved to my second choice.)

It was a nice colour, a little feminine but still nice. I didn't make an offer no, still having a think about it.

The shifting of the 6speed was a little notchy. Owner stated that it was because the gearbox was cold, he said it gets better when warmed up.
I dont have enough experience to tell if it was a worn box or if it was fine, but the car is so far away from specialists I cant get a PPI.

My ‘01 S is a little stiff to get into first gear when cold as well, once it is warmed up after a mile or so, it is smooth.

I gotta give all the credit to Nine8Six, he CNC machined these awesome projectors.
silver ones were retrofitted by particlewave, not sure about the red ones.
