I figured I might as well join in. I think seal grey gives the box a very classic porsche look compared to some of the other color options. Just my 02 worth...

I guess you are right, just takes a lot of experience and a good camera to shoot under "low light" conditions...i will figure it out someday

...if you like decals, but non-permanent...magnetic decals of your favorite brand might be an option (easy to create within online-shops nowadays)

i like billboards on wheels once in a while

Hi Bran - may I ask where you purchased the Aerokit I side skirts and how much they set you back?

I too have a seal gray Boxster and have been toying with adding these. I think I've talked myself out of upgrading the front bumper due to cost and ease of scraping. But the side skirts....
I have updated the rear.

[QUOTE=507fan;432275]Hi Bran - may I ask where you purchased the Aerokit I side skirts and how much they set you back?

Hi 507fan,

yours and the BMW507 are awesome cars
I have never seen a rear bumper like yours, it resembles somehow the Boxster concept style, very nice. --> we need more info

Aerokit I side skirts (primed): I got mine from a Porsche dealership, the whole shebang (see photo) set me back ~1000$

Without the expensive glue set (IMO only necessary for the front and rear parts of the kit and probably worth it then) ~ 750$
You can buy equivalent (certified) glue for much less, ~30$

BTW: Keep in mind, that you have to srew 11 special "screw-bolts" into each side of your car to fixate the rails.......I think it is worth it.

takes a strong arm and a (professional) power-tool to drill those screw-bolts into the metal
Drilling holes beforehand is not recommended due to corrosion issues.

Take your time!!
...if you slip off while drilling, pushing with full power --> free dents and scratch marks

Thank you for your quick and thorough responses. I really enjoy the Boxster community and this forum in particular for that reason. I reached out to two members whose cars I really liked for information on their upgrades. They were both phenomenally friendly and helpful.

Attached below / to the '01 rear bumper is a Gemballa rear diffuser.
The 'black warts' were replaced with the color matched from Bumper Plugs.
The de ambering is courtesy of the Depot replacements that are widely discussed on the forum. I am pleased with everything.

Thanks again!

I love that prototype hardtop Eric523 created in the Boxster racing forum section.
Wish someone would create a carbon type (D.Morris is just 2-3 inches too high for my taste, with a sup-optimal rear window) of the following one:
