I too have the Porsche lettering on the back around the same level as yours, without boxster there it looks kinda empty underneath
That DRL harness is nicer indeed, but note you don't have a manual controller, its gonna come on all the time when you start your car I take it.

About the lettering in the back, it does look like its missing something without smaller labels like ' Boxster'. I think you should look into getting something for that area but make sure its smaller than the PORSCHE letters or it will look weird.

Chantilly autobody and paint. But any good paint place can do the paint, as long as you have the color code for the car.

You are absolutely right. if you attach it to the battery directly it will come on all the time. If you're up to it however, you can pass it through the firewall and into your dash and use a switch to control it. Several of my friends have done it and it works great.

That's why I just tap the parking side markers and use the oem light controls, didn't want another switch in the car and make another hole in the dash to secure it. All the same to me either way. thanks
