New member to porsche family

Just bought first porsche. A boxster. Things to look out for. She is a 2004 with 10th miles. Seats a bit rough. Looking to replace. Not sure which way to go... New covers vs. Racing ricardo or relative of latter. Brake caliber covers or paint entire caliper. Any advise in subject matter?

Welcome to the forum. It's a very good place to get good information.

Did you say 2004 with 10,000 miles that's pretty good. Wonder how the seats were damaged. Anyway did you mean Recaro seats. You can find good used seats on Ebay. I can't give advice on the covers.

I can tell you if you decide to start painting the calipers they will need touched up regularly. The two brands of caliper paint I've used seems to darken from heat in about a year.

Those Ricardo seats are made in Cuba, aren't they?
