986 at Harris Hill DE Track Event

This past weekend I took the 986 to Harris Hill in San Marcos for a DE event through PCA. This car was amazing on the track....I had no idea these little cars could do so much. Nothing beats the thrill of going 95 into a corner, slamming on the brakes, hitting the apex and launching out of a turn. Being my first track experience I had an instructor in the car with me which was great. They helped my confidence and aided in finding the apex/proper lines and braking points. The brakes and handling of my car, base anemic 1999 986 are still amazing. I was passing/keeping up with newer 997s which was a great feeling. Also, being one of the only cars out there with out VSA or PASM was fun as well. I've attached a few pictures.
