I have your car's older twin brother! Beautiful car there, friend. I wish mine was an 03 S... for the larger motor and the glass window and the glove box! Very cool indeed.

Hey, you really need the mesh screens for the rollbar hoops and a center windscreen. You've no idea how quiet the cabin can be with the top down on the freeway with these installed.

Jay Senoff's product (see "stop noise and wind" ad at left) might be a less expensive solution.

Nice car.

Looks like the rear spoiler is sort of half way up, half way down.

Very nice. Say, what kind of shifter is that? Doesn't look OEM to me and I like it...

That is the OEM carbon fiber/aluminum knob that comes only with a 6-speed shift pattern on the top of the knob for the S model Boxsters or base/S Carreras.

Thanks guys! I LOVE IT!!!!! Only 16,000 miles on it. I smile like the joker when I'm driving it!!! Porsche perma-smile!!!! Other drivers look at me like I'm crazy!

I'm still getting used to driving on the freeway in 3rd and 4th gear?! My whole life I've been driving on the freeway in 5th.

It has the carbon fiber parking brake and gear shift and the bose package. I'll check out the windscreens.. thanks for the tip!

Shoot, put that tranny in fifth and get better fuel economy as well as saving your motor from premature wear.

Ain't nothin' wrong with rolling along at 2k rpm if you don't need the power to cruise.

If you really want to save gas, throw it in 6th, since you have that gear too in your S.

You don't want to lug the engine...sixth gear is rarely used unless you're cruising well above the posted highway speed limit. I use mostly 4th and 5th at highway speeds and keep the revs no lower than around 3200 rpm.

Your black S is very nice looking, but I'm partial to black; after saying "no" to it for the fourth or fifth time!
