The front bumper and side skirts were part of a factory option commonly referred to as the Aero Kit 1. I believe the actual package according to the "build sheet"was referred to as the XXA option. This option was later replaced by the Aero Kit II. The price for this option was approximately $6.500. Last I knew, the side skirts were still being produced by Porsche as part of their Tequipment line-up. However, I don't believe that the front bumper is still available.

Thanks that cleared up a lot of questions for me. And looking twice at my bumper i guess i do have the same one how can you tell the difference between kit I nd kit II?
Here's some photos of the aero kit II. It essentially borrows from the 996 Gt3 look. You can purchase these oem parts from numerous sources at prices far less than a Porsche dealer.
