LOL. I thought so. Well obviously I thought enough of your car to take a picture of it. Very nice. You are actually the second person I have come across whose car I took a picture of at that event.

Where can I buy a day like that

Nice pics Q. Sitting here tonight awaiting the wrath of mother nature tomorrow. We are supposed to get from 6" to 12" of snow tomorrow. Naturally I cleaned the car today! :ah:

The other guy was a friend of a friend. I was telling a buddy about all the cars I saw that weekend and he asked for a CD with my pics. (I took a lot of pictures) Well a friend of his was looking through the photos and discovered I had taken a few pictures of his 996TT.

I’m really looking forward to the next one. Last year I literally went by myself. This year I've already gotten a few people lined up.

What is Mid-America? One large Porsche get-together?

Mid-America is one of the largest parts retailers for Vettes, Porsches, and VW's. They host a Porsche fest every year along with a VW and VetteFest. The vettefest attracts over 10,000 vettes each year now making it one of the largest vette shows in the world. I happen to be lucky enough that it is practically in my backyard so I attend serveral events each year. They will be adding a drag strip and roadcourse to the facility sometime in the next year or two and I can hardly wait.

Adam,

I sent you two pictures that I had of your car.

jwocky,

Yea. It used to be known as Tweeks Funfest, but they changed the name to Mid-America Funfest. Last year there was something like 500 Porsches there. They had a display with a bunch of sweet cars like a Carrera GT, a 959 etc. . . . I had a blast doing nothing more then walking around taking pictures.
