In fact you have 2 options regarding the door, it opens almost 90cm horizontally and then you can either pull it upwards vertically or simply open it as any normal car, thats the good advantage about the doors.

Great looking car that also sounds good, what type of exhaust have you fitted ?. I have to agree with Big Jake, I never thought a Boxster would have suited scissor doors until I viewed yours, well done.
