The thing I don't get is how anyone is planning on putting this boot on installed. From everything I've seen with any shift knob I've had is that the knob is integrated with the boot. I don't see how these can be used in conjunction with anything that's OEM.

I have the half metal ball shift knob and the boot is attached to it by 2 thin zip ties so that wouldnt be to hard to undo and redo.

I got my Shiftboot and knob back from ShiftStyle acouple weeks ago
It came out pretty good, they even removed the old worn leather from the shift knob itself and recovered it in alcantara!
When i get my 3 spoke wheel Ill have it sent to them for covering as well.

I just ordered a boot from them.
Hopefully their Burgundy color is a good match to Arena Red. If not, it's only $39.

Hey shiftstyle, beautiful product you got!! I'll definetly be ordering my shift boot from you guys, as soon as I figure out which color combo I want. my Boxter is black on Tan.
Also, my car has the OEM mushroom style shifter. Can I still use my OEM shifter? Or do I need to buy an aftermarket one? And.....does anybody have a DIY on how to remove the OEM shifter and Boot??

We have a black on tan car here at the shop, and we decked it out with a black boot with tan stitching. It's subtle and classy looking.
As for the knob, if you look on our site, you will see that we have two boots listed under the Porsche Boxster. One if for the factory knob, and then other is for the upgraded ball knob.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

Can I get my S4 boot in on this deal?
Also do you think you have a color that would match the Alcantara on my interior? I think it is described as almost a silver...

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
