Painted Center Console Pics

Finally started modding my 986. Two week wait and finally got my center console and bumperettes back from the paint shop. Sadly the bumperettes weren't prepped properly, one still had rubber texture so those are going back to the shop on Monday when I go to pick up my Pop's Lapis Blue center console. The center console turned out pretty good. Here is a pic.

I don't want to 'trick' my interior out like my last 986. Every once and awhile I used to think I did too much to the interior. I'm gonna keep this one perfect and not go overboard.

Feel free to post opinions.

I'm also looking for a black & aluminum hand brake. PM me if you have one for sale.

Looks good. put another shot a little further out to get the full effect. Maybe just paint the three bars on the dash the same color to keep it simple.

I like the console.

Maybe someone can photoshop the three bars painted. I think that is a great idea.

I'm thinking about painting mine black. What's the prep process to sand it down smooth?

I'd use 180 wet as 80 will be too aggressive and leave deep scratches in it.

What about matching side door lid covers to tie it all in together? Then do nothing else other than the e-brake handle with the silver/black design.

That looks great, would you mind sharing how much the body shop charged you to paint it?
