Hi Grizzly, sorry to hear about your back injury, be sure to get some good thearpy when the time is right. You are probably on top of this, but dont just let the docs start cutting on your back, which they enjoy doing for lots of back injuries. I had a back injury that was pretty bad for over a year, and they eventually did surgery on my low back, which in retrospect, I think I could have avoided with proper thearpy. Best of luck,

Ed

Griz,

So sorry to hear about your back

But, I think I can help :

http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/

This is the only other forum I visit besides here. One of the guys in here posted a thread about the Tail of the Dragon long ago, and I have been checking it out ever since ( never posted though ). Cars and half naked women - you can't beat it ( make sure to check out the "Other Off Topic" section ). A lot of traffic, too !

Good luck, buddy...

Nick

Griz,

Sorry man. Difficult times. I trashed my back 20 years ago getting off a motorcycle the hard way. Nothing worse than lying around waiting to see what will happen. As you said, at least the drugs are good. My prayers are with you. Keep the faith.

Learn as much as you can about your condition and as others have said... once healed, therapy and exercise are the keys to recovery.

Here is a website for the local LA car scene. Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, chicks, the usual stuff. Enjoy. http://www.pcars.us/index.php

Grizzly, sorry to hear about your back injury. Want to read a good book? I just picked-up the new Vince Flynn novel. Very good. Title is "Protect and Defend". Very timely with the Iran situation.

How about a re-run:

I hate to hear that, Griz. I've fought some nagging back pain in the last couple of years, but never anything major. I can't imagine the pain that a major injury brings.

Hope you feel better soon. Take care...

Sorry to hear about your injury. I guess though – not knowing what happened, and considering what we all THINK you do for a living, maybe it could have been worse and we are glad it isn’t.

Hopefully you will be able to fully recover and be back on the job, and more importantly enjoying your Porsche.

This site should keep you busy for a little while:
