can you go over a speed bump? lol

looks great i love it

funster 06-08-2007 08:02 PM

Nicw looking car. Are those Toyo's on those rims? If so, how do you like them from a performance standpoint?

blinkwatt 06-08-2007 10:12 PM

@ Bisimoto,

Is that your prototype exhaust?

Gary in BR 06-08-2007 10:43 PM

That is a beautiful car,
I love the exhaust tips, when do we get to hear it??

djomlas 06-08-2007 10:50 PM

jeez man, thats low as hell.
i was considering that bumper, but now im having 2nd thoughts about it, ALTHOUGH, my car is not as low as ours.
loos nice man,
btw, nice to see that it says 986 on the back this time

Yes, I can, with some velocity, I may add.

Funster, they are Toyos...very nice ride indeed, with very little road noise.

Blink, yes it is. Made so much power, I am afraid to share. I would like one more iteration of the design, to hopefully improve on an already amazing layout.

Gary, I need to get together a sound clip....as soon as I figure out how to do so..lol

DJ, it is not as low as it looks. I have access to two different bottom lips: the one on the car and a less agressive one that gives an additional inch of ground clearance.

Nonetheless, thank you everyone for your kind words.

Which front end is that, and from which company? Looks incredible!!!!

I got it from a company known as BJ motorsports, in Los Angeles: one of my many accounts. PM for information and prices.

Looks awesome Bisi. Great job. Exhaust tips look great too.

To make a simple sound clip, just use a digital camera to record a video while someone revs your car or does a drive by. Then load it to your computer and goto a hosting service like tinypic.com to load onto their site. Then just give us the link here to view it. I'd love to hear your custom exhaust.

djomlas 06-09-2007 08:21 AM

thx for the info man. i really like that bumper a lot.
how does it look with no lip at all? do you have pics of that?

jwilson95 06-09-2007 11:32 AM

Bisi-

Looks really tough. I'd be so afraid of ripping of that front end I'd probably have tunnel vision while driving!

Really want to see the numbers off your dyno and more importantly hear that exhaust. It definitely looks the part.

Not to be the only negative one in here, but the car looks a bit front-end heavy now. The bumber is huge and the tail is small looking by comparison.

Nothing personal, I've just never been a fan of that bumper.

I like your wheels though.

xxxalexxxx 06-09-2007 09:36 PM

I have to agree with Chills, a little front end heavy to me now now but i love the wheels and the color. The cars amazing just not a fan of the bumper.

btw that is crazy low haha hope theres no speed bumps where u drive that thing lol

Nice looking car; although IMO the TECHART bumper does not really flow that well for the Boxster than for its more powerfull/aggressive 996 brother.
To each his own though.

boxsterx 06-10-2007 10:08 AM

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

car looks great - the front bumper treatment really made a huge difference! How was the install btw? was fit and finish up to oem standards?

Between the last time i saw your car at the outback steakhouse meet and the pics above - that is just a huge improvement! Can't wait to see your car up close again!

Boxter 06-10-2007 10:52 AM

looks great....

No, DJ, but if I ever modify the lip, I will attempt to take pics for you.

Box,
The installation was a snap...no need to modify the bumper at all. There are 2 lip options, and I opted for the more aggressive one. It looks so sick in person!

Thanks, all, for the feedback, both positive and not so positive. On the road, this mod gets tons of compliments...more than I ever expected!

[986] 06-11-2007 01:39 AM

Damn thats one tough looking car. I love it! :D

Darkhamr 06-11-2007 05:44 AM

Looks cool, but I agree the back end needs skirting to balance the look.
