I love the way your car looks. Just need to paint those bumperrets, change the gold hood crest to match the silver ones you have on the wheels center caps and add some rear bumper diffusers underneath. Overall it looks great. Good luck on keeping that front end bottom from getting scraped up!

What happened to the Deluboz headers you were going to Dyno for us?
Did you skip that step and go onto your own header design? Please let us know - I have been waiting for this Dyno results for a while... Thanks, Ed |
Sweet! I've been looking for one of those "986S" emblem's myself where did you find that one? I've seen em on ebay sometimes, but just curious....car looks awesome btw.

SBoxin, Even though I design the most efficient and powerful high performance headers in certain markets, I have not made one for the Boxster yet. I am still commited to testing Deluboz units, but have run into 3 issues: No lift at my facility yet, I have not solved the CEL dilemma that exists when removing the primary CATs (on the S), and how to meticulously extend the O2 sensor wires to allow fitiment of those units. I am very anal with technology, and need more time with the amount of projects I have pending. Those who have visited my facility understand my position. I got mine from Bumperplugs as well. EasyC..thanks again! |
So what size rims are those? 18s or 19s?
|
19x8.5 on the front, and 19x10.5 on the rear, with 1.5" and 4.5" lips, respectively. I also run Toyos on them.

Yes, I did: Eibach..1.0" all around at 1st, and settled to 1.4" on the rears and 1.2" on the fronts, after some time.

Solvent?
I like your 986 S emblem. Recently I purchased a Boxster S emblem and the instructions about removing the old adhesive were noncommital. It just said to use a solvent. What type of solvent did you use to remove the old adhesive? I like 986 S and may remove the new Boxster and replace with the number.

Easy,
Come on by when ever! The concept of the header lengths is good, but that collector is horrible. A far cry from optimal. Tom, I used dental floss to "saw" away the adhesive "boxster S", and "bug and tar" remover to get the residue off. It was very simple. Make sure that you alcohol swab the surface before applying the 986S emblems, the remover containes wax/hydrocarbon based compounds. |
