Couple of pic
Hi- I'm new to the board and thought I would share a couple of pics of my Boxster S
Upgrades include:
RUF bumper
RUF side skirts
RUF pedals
EVO Intake
Gembella Throttle
Fabspeed headers and exhaust
Short shift
Kinesis Supercup 3 piece wheels 18"
RD sway bars
H&R coil overs
Eclipse and JL sound system with 10" sub under dash
Lightend flywheel
RACE clutch and PP

I was planning to add spacers but decided against it. Based on measurements i would be right on the wheel arch.

I want to lower my car, but I'm afraid that it sits to low as it is. My front end has a lip on it that rubs up against stuff all the time. Like the idiot who designed the high curb that leads into my garage. It's like trying to drive over a speed bump. So I guess until I buy a house, I'm screwed. Sure would make my car look better. Not sure about how well it would handle. It seems to rough for daily driving already as it is. This is the first car I own that I did not lower.

Don't get me started on curbs. It sits relatively low and I even have to worry about bumps on freeways i.e. transitions from road to overpass. I am fortunate that this is not my everyday driver; it would be difficult driving it everyday especially with all the crappy roads in the Bay Area.

I think I have EVERYONE on this forum beat on ride height. My GT3 front end with the lip sits EXACTLY 3 inches off the ground. I've replaced the lip 3 times since I installed the bumper...
EZE I feel you on the bumps even on the highway. I've come to learn all the lanes I must aviod on all major highways I use.

why dont you buy the "boomerang". i have one on my boxster and it protects the bumper from getting all jacked up underneath.

Do you have pics or website where i can find the boomerang?
The bumper and side skirts are genuine RUF. I believe the bumper and skirts cost me approx $2,900 not icluding paint and installation. I also have the bumper protected with an invisible bra. It covers the front bumper, side mirrors, almost half the hood and a section underneath the gas filler.

I thought that the Boxster "S" came with rear diffusers underneath? Is that the original rear bumper?

The rear is original (i painted the buperettes s/p?) as far as I know there never was a rear plate

I think you're talking about the rear diffusers that are standard on both the base and the S model for 2003-2004 Boxsters...

I did not realize that the rear diffusers were not introduced until 2003. Makes sence now. Your car would look even better with the diffusers added to the rear bumper. Color matched of course.
