I am running the diagnostic now, comparing Cam Deviation 1 and 2. They do NOT change while the engine is idling. Cam Deviation 1 stays at 0.64, and deviation 2 stays at 0.66.

The 944 has the fiasco with having to replace the timing belt regularly or else the car blows up. The Boxster "improvement" is that now you have to replace the IMS bearing or else IT blows up.

I have a 2003 986, and the manual for the radio (and the other for the car) make no mention of a code at all. Are you sure all 2003+ have MOST? How would I know?
