there's no fitting issue and there's pre drilled...

there's no fitting issue and there's pre drilled hole but you have to make it bigger.
The OEM latch works fine and it will handle the light weight trunk lid.
Nothing needs to be changed, just swap...

I also have the same exact headers on my 2002 5-speed.
I do not get CEL ever when I removed the secondary car...

It is not a perfect fitment but there are no crazy mods...
just simply tie-wrap...
