I wanted to test a 996 MAF housing in my Boxster(986) for an upcoming project.
Problem is the 911 housing is part of the airbox. An older BMW 540i has the same size MAF housing as the early 966s.

There should be enough information here to tune any 986 or 996.
I have a early model of the 986 these cars came with M5.2.2 DMEs.
Early 996s had the same DME so it should work there too.
