Thanks guys. That calculator is useful Dlirium. I guess the thing I wasn't considering is that the offset measurement is from the center of the wheel so the amount of lip doesn't make a difference...

Removed the intake snorkle. I broke the clip nearest to the door, but the scoop is re-installed tight, so unless it starts rattling, I think it will be fine. I'm liking the increased sound.
