Does anyone mind sharing opinions regarding the current data system options? I believe most people use an AIM product in Spec Boxster racing but am not sure if this is true and, if so, which one(s)....

Has anyone used or experimented with a lightweight battery? If so, are there any common problems associated with these batteries? It seems like a pretty easy way to shed some bad (i.e., high)...

I'm really glad to hear you are ok Tom. I was nervous for a while. The car looks much better than I expected. I think the race video will show what a truly bad collision this was.

I reconnected the instrument panel, but the car...

I reconnected the instrument panel, but the car still doesn't turn over. All dash lights turn on when I turn the key.

A new ignition switch should be here tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed....

The idiot lights are gone. Dash is completely out of the car.

I forgot to mention in my initial post that the key still activates the lock and unlock circuit. I'm not sure if this matters.
