They work...
I installed the Schild pieces not long after buying my 987. From the marks they have on their surfaces, the front and rear lids have been protected from any dents or dings produced from the interior...

The last time I changed oil in the Boxster, the level mark was spot on with about
8.2 quarts of fluid. This included a change of the filter as well...so 10 quarts is about 20% too much according...

Talked to another 987 owner yesterday that has 28K on the original tires. The car is used almost exclusively as a daily driver, with lots of commute miles in the total.
