Failure cause

As Jake knows, the problem with my 29000 mile '05 987 was IMS bearing seal failure, with lots of metal dancing around in the engine. The cam cover plate was cracked all the way through by the timing...

I have Alpine's best single DIN unit (9887) and want to replace the stock 2005 HU. I didnt realize the 2004 had a faceplate like that. Dont much careabout the cupholders, but they do fill the space....
