Bob,

She didn't look at the Boxster this time around. Six years ago she went to by a Boxster and had a very bad experience with the sales people. She wound up with her first S2000, a Silver over Red.

I think we were both taken by the roof line and rear wings of the Cayman. The Boxsters on display (987s?) looked really sweet too. We still have one convertible, my daily driver '92 Miata.

We had one unexpected compliment this past weekend. We met one of my co-workers out and about and he said he was very jealous of our having picked up a Cayman. This from a guy with a 2006 MB SLK 350 AMG. So that made us

Yeah, my first P-dealer experience was unpleasant as well. Went back a couple of years later and it was all different.....that time I bought the Boxster.

The Cayman is an awesome machine…enjoy!

Congratulation on your new car and becoming member of 986 Forum. I was the recipient of my wifes generosity as she bought me the Boxster I own 2003 S. So many accolades have been given to the Cayman that you don't need one from me. Drive it and enjoy it. I never had a convertible like you own so I went for the convertible. Today I would be torn between the performance package of the C-7 and the esthetics of the Boxster S but I would still opt for the ragtop. Should they ever put a targa top on the C-7 that would change my opinion.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
