Did he downshift to the wrong gear?
Steering wheel seemed relatively straight when he lifted.

i think DFW is right; snatched the wrong gear & locked up the rear.

I did that myself in my 914 at the end of the straight at Mid-Ohio a few years ago? 180 @ 100+ wakes you up!
