Chills,

I had to reprogram the head unit because my Aux was in the off mode. When I
plugged the IPOD in, it wouldnt recognize it. I did not have a CD changer installed.

Also, did you notice if the radio was out of its hole, it was locked and none of the buttons would respond. As soon as it was grounded in the hole by the inner sleeve it worked again... strange!

All in all, excellent results.. I dont know how come I didnt do this sooner. My buddy has his kit on order for his 911 after hearing of my results. Now that I am an expert cable installer, I got the nod to do his. It really is a pretty easy mod!

Ahh, ok. I assumed you had the CD changer.

I didn't notice that about the radio when it was out of its socket. I didn't try to turn anything on until it was back in.

I'm glad you're pleased with the results. I'm looking to see how to attach the power so it'll charge my iPod as well. A friend suggested a "fuse extender" kit. Have you heard of this?
