The manual says to change it at 90k , I had mine changed at around 85k . I felt a smooth shifting through the gears but it could of been all mental . I would say yes but maybe somew one could argue the opposite.

wow, 90k intervals, i would have thought like 60 or 75k intervals. Good to know, I still havent left to the freeways to really heat up that gear oil but as soon as the plumber leaves, ill go for a drive... Does anyone have crack spackel that i can offer the plumber

I thought it was part of the 60k tune-up?

I changed my tranny oil to Redline MT-90 and right away it was smoother in everything. I have put over 1k on it since and nothing has changed.

Yes I changed mine myself. It's not so much hard,but rather an annoyance trying to fit the big hex key in the filler whole to loosen and tighten the plug,same with fitting the tranny fluid in there(I transferred the oil from the new tranny oil container to a small container I had around the garage,made it much easier).

My experience exactly. My 3 & 4 shifts were stiff when cold, but the MT-90 helped by 50% when cold and made the gearbox smoother overall.
