He wants to do a Seafoam soak of the pistons to try and see if he can potentially unstick piston rings, but the engine is a flat six, so anything you put in the combustion chamber is just going to pool on one 'edge' of the piston, not the top, since the piston is vertical.

Sorry, I was trying to be funny. Usually with a V-Type engine or a straight configuration, when you get stuck oil rings that cause burning, you can pour some decarbonizing agent (sea foam, trans fluid, etc) and dissolve the build up causing the rings to stick. you cannot do that with a flat (or side to side that I called "sideways") because only a very small portion of the ring will sit in the mixture whereas you will get 100% coverage with an up and down piston. I'll stick to auto repairs and leave the comedy to the pros.

thanks. I'm going to compare the diagrams between the 2 tonight. Looks like the first 3 are comparable. I wonder if pin 9 on mine is a 12V pull down circuit and yours in the 03 is a pull up. I check into it and let you know.

Mine is a 2000. I checked the wiring diagrams for both and they look the same, I can't see why they would make them different.

I don't know why I did it but I looked yours up as an 03. My mistake. Going to the shop tomorrow and Im going to check out a hunch. I could've sworn that the live data could be read when I first started the Box. The only thing that I have done since is install the 4 o2 sensors. Wondering if maybe one is worried incorrectly and pulling the k-line down when started. I'm going to unplug all 4 and check.
