UroTrash's RMS repair

I, like many of you suffer from the dreaded “RMS Leak Syndrome”.

Until now, the only solution was a $900 repair necessitating a major service at the stealership.

Being a very technical as well as creative sort, I have analyze the problem and have come up with a solution for approximately half of that price.

Step1.

I drew out my plan and was very careful to follow the blueprint EXACTLY. PLEASE NOTE: This blue print is copyrighted by me and may not be used with out my expressed permission. So don’t even think about it.

Step2.

You will need a supply of high grade material such as that in the picture. I have taken literally days to assemble this supply, what with Christmas shipping coming up.

Step 3.

After selecting an appropriate material donor, us a sharp instrument to remove all the parts that do not look like a RMS repair as I have done in the following pictures. Note: Follow the blueprint EXACTLY, or close.

Addendum: Why these 3 piccies don't show, I don't know.

Step 4.

Examine the garage floor carefully until you discover the tell-tale signs of the RMS leak, pictured

Step 5.

Place you RMS repair device OVER the spots on the floor. Placing it elsewhere in the garage will result in a suboptimal result. See pic.

Step 6.

Check in 3 days to see if the repair worked properly as illustrated with my prototype repair, pictured

You should have had a 'Non-Disclosure' form w/ this message. I fear someone will be stealing your well thought out idea and running w/ it makeing $$$$ that you deserve.

You need a good lawyer to help you through this.

I'd be happy to provide those services for a minimal retaining fee.

The market will prob be flooded with cheap Chinese knock-offs in a month.

I guess I need to order a stamp (likely made in China) that reads "proudly made in USA" to stamp my high quality repair systems.

Building on David"s input, what about front engine and rear engine vehicles. Could your R&D people come up with some type of adaptor or something for those as well? I can imagine an entirely new cottage industry here.

I think my RMS repair is defective.

It has been on the floor for 15 days and not a single drop is on it.

How could that happen?

The car was dripping pretty good before, and now BONE DRY.

And yes before you say it, there is still oil in the crankcase!


Weird.
