LCA brand?

So, I need som new LCA:s in the rear. I'll be replacing the inner bushing with monoballs.

I read that the Meyle LCA:s inner rubber bushing is about 1mm bigger in diameter so retrofit it with monoball cartridges won't work.

Do we know any other good brand that will work properly?

So you need more camber or just replacing the arm? The SPC arms have a 3rd generation with a fluted bearing retainer cap, very secure, and supposedly the bushing diameters are the same as OEM for retrofit purposes. Vertex has stock arms with a replaceable ball joint that should accept a monoball inner bushing.

I have got a thread with the meyle folks confirming their diameters are different somewhere, if I can find it I'll post the differences.

Thanks a lot, I don't need more camber, just want oem spec arms without the Porsche price. Those upgrade Vertex arms looks nice, but I'll settle for a oem type.

I'm now putting on Öhlins r/t coilovers and will be replacing all control arms & chassis components. All bushings will be solid.

In the front I already got new GT3 arms, the will get monoballs to.

So, do we know of a brand with oem quality and oem dimensions? I have been searching but haven't been able to get a clear answer.

Check the serial number on your rears, but I think the LCAs are the same arm all the way around. I have 2 that I'd sell for $50USD total for both plus shipping. I'm moving and would like to get them sold. The Tarett monoball will fit in these.

LCAs, Trailing Arms, RCA

Here is the LCA bushing info I got from Meyle. The center looks pretty close but the inner is 1mm larger so the monoball cartridge seems like it might not get the pressure fit it needs and might be too large for retaining compound to make up the difference.

Quote:
Control arm Inner bushing dimensions of arm - TRW = 40.97 mm
Control arm Inner bushing dimensions of arm - MEYLE =41.93 mm

Control arm Center bushing dimensions of arm - TRW = 55.02 mm
Control arm Center bushing dimensions of arm - MEYLE =54.95 mm

That's a pretty significant diff, thanks for valuable info!
