Made some coolant lines for my centre radiator install

I wanted to install a centre radiator but wanted something a little more factory looking than brass reducers. I bought some new S coolant pipes and cut them up as well as my existing base coolant pipes, I used the larger end that wasn't being used on the smaller pipes, flared one end to fit the larger "S" pipe and TiG welded them together. Here's the result:

Nice looking work.
Do you have way to test them for pinhole leaks before you install them?

That's how I had mine done when I added the center radiator. Looks good!

Yup if you can figure out a way to test them under pressure even better.
A small weeping pinhole leak when the car is at operating temp. would be a PITA.

An idea:
Get a bicycle inner tube cut it 180 degrees from the presta valve.
Slip one end over the end of the coolant tube clamp with a hose clamp.
Fill with water.
Slip the other end of inner tube over the other end of the coolant tube. Clamp with hose clamp.
Now you can use the presta valve to apply air pressure.
Hope that makes some sense.

I love this idea! Thank you. Genius idea. I was going to apply vacuum with my air lift tool, but I like your idea better.

Don't know about "Genius idea."
I try to go for the simplest solution first.
The Idea just popped into my head while I was typing a reply to your post.
Hope it helps you out.
