Will 996 Turbo springs fit 986?

Running a Boxster in ChampCar -- we currently have coil overs but
they ding us for points -- the stock springs are way too soft.

Came across a set of 996 Turbo springs -- wondering if they are the same dimensions as the Boxster springs?

May have similar dimensions, but as the 996 is a much heavier car, they would have a higher spring rates you could end up looking like a monster truck...................
