The P0430 does it do anything more?

After changing out the whole exhaust I got the old friend: P0430, indicating bad efficiency of cat bank-2. I suspect the sensor, (It got a lot of beating when removing cats) but I´ll sort that out later.

My question now is, is it ok to keep driving until I have fixed it? I mean it will not trigger some kind of Limpish mode does it? I´m pretty sure it is cool, but just wanna check with you guys.. Car actually runs fine..

I would usually resist banging on catalytic converters or most parts of exhaust at any time. I think that is why most exhaust service may recommend heat for stuck pipes and hardware. You can shake loose the internals (honeycomb) causing a restricted flow of gasses. If you didn't have the code before...that sucks. I'm hoping it is the sensor too. Check the wiring on the sensor if you disconnected it and exhaust leaks in front of cat. Only advice I have. Good luck. Enjoy your car.

Yes, it’s okay to drive the car. Don’t tell Greta I said so.

I'd advice to check and clear the CEL often, withing a day when it shows up, to make sure that there are no some new reasons for the CEL to lit than what you already know to be 'not so urgent' P0430.
