there is no magnaflow yet for the box, as i know of......but i believe someone on the board works for magnaflow and said there was something being produced and that was a while back,..but havent heard nething from him.
the only thing i wold suggest is getting mufflers, and doing a customs welded exhuast...
or just get the schnell cat-back.

Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. I sent a PM to KRZTACO since he had done a custom Magnaflow system on his Boxster. He responded saying he used some 4x9 mufflers. He did not post the exact model number. The Magnaflow website shows a few different 4x9 mufflers. I was just going to go to my local shop and find out which one would work best.
Hope that helps.

I made a custom exhaust using magnaflows. Pics can be found here:
http://vorlon.case.edu/~jpv/boxexhaust/
It's 10lbs as it sits. It uses 2 x 642-14414 Magnaflow mufflers, 2" piping and 3" rolled, polished tips. It bolts on easily and looks fantastic on the car. If you're at all interested, shoot me an e-mail. vitamvauser at hotmail dot com.

John V, I would love an email pic of your setup to merplastic@cox.net

JohnV,
How loud is your setup. I was considering using those same mufflers, but I thought that it might be a little too loud. I am considering using a set of the 4x9 mufflers instead.

It's not loud at all with the 4" round x 14" long mufflers above about 3500 RPM. Regardless of your muffler choice the car will be unbearably loud below 3500 RPM unless you add a significant amount of length to the exhaust system.
