I went with the Fabspeed maxflow for my 2001 Boxster S. Love the sound above 3500 rpm, not digging the drone around 2000 rpm that makes highway driving a bit of a drag. The engine has more high end zing and ripping to the redline is addictive. Does it feel any faster? Marginally but it might just be because of the sound. You're not going to notice an extra claimed 7 hp and 10 lb-ft in the top end.

Right, don't expect performance upgrade, but reduced weight and complexity. Louder is cool and I generally don't do highway in the car anyway, but I could live with the drone also. I spent my childhood flying everywhere in little planes and that is a constant drone on trips...I liked it.
