T.Y . Silber I shall do that,..But,..How do you find TDC for either bank,...I know how if it had a distributor but we all know they don't !

The slot in the end of the cam is offset. You can see if the cam is 180 degrees off by how the tool lines up with the flange it bolts to. #1 tdc is when the offset is correct and #1 cyl is compressing (need the plug out). I lock both sides. Unnecessary, but It gives me peace of mind. If you need to borrow a lock, let me know with a pm. Or, locking one side is fine. Don't forget to buy 2 cam plugs.

My spare lock I made by using the purchased tool as a pattern. I'm sure you can too. Its just a piece of 1/4 inch sawn out, drilled, and the tang ground offset. Not hard and no special tools needed.
