99 Boxter CEL, Code P0445, Help

Hello,

I am new to this site. A week ago I bought a 1999 whilte Boxter w / tiptronic trans. Don't say anything, I did not get a manual due to nerve issues in legs and in back neck area. Car has 69.999 miles on it. Came with new tires, brakes, oil change and new top with glass window. Drives good. Third day I drove it, yesterday darn CEL light came one, no flashing, steady. I panicked, lots of things ran in my mind. I decided to go to Oreilly Autoparts store and scanner was plugged into car and the following code came up: P0445. I then bought a new gas cap and put it on. After that I went to a car repair place and person removed CEL light. I then drove it it on and off for about 45m, turned car on about 3-5 times. CEL did not come back on. I actually ordered a genuine Porsche gas cap online today jus in case. I hope gas cap will resolve this issue. I do hear suction / vacuum noise when I took off new cap. Hopefully this resolves issues. Need help please. Thx. Ger.
